It is this time of year that our Peeblesshire Youth Trust (PYT) volunteers, Hayley & Emma start their preparations for delivering over 100 Christmas Hampers to families in need throughout Peeblesshire.

Would you be willing to help them, in any way you can, to fulfil their task?

Last year they delivered a record 120 Hampers (up 15% on 2022) but we were hit at the time with lower donations than normal and increasing food costs, no doubt due to rising inflation and the general cost of living crisis hitting the UK as a whole.

Whilst food inflation is currently not as high as last year, shop prices are still rising! People are still in need!

Increase the number of young people that we engage with. Expand our existing partnership working to improve the services offered to our young people. Recognise where there is a need for additional support and explore how we may meet that need.
Recruit, train and support a larger valued group of volunteers to facilitate delivery of excellent services for our young people.
